Grammarly - for sorting out your waffle's

Yes, I really meant waffle's!

Video’s. Pizza’s. Waffle’s, etc.

I’m all for the writing process, and for saying what you need to say, but if you really do struggle with punctuation, you need help. If you’re not sure, try using Grammarly. This free, online tool helps you to check your work. It picks up errors that Microsoft Word will miss.

I’m reasonably good at grammar, but we all make typo mistakes, so even I use Grammarly to help. It is a spell check, a plagiarism check, a style check, and a grammar check.

Rather like a satnav that pops up and tells you if you go off in the wrong direction, Grammarly can be a little irritating. Sometimes, I look at the suggestions and think: no, that isn’t right! However, on the whole, it highlights typos and minor errors very well. If everyone who ever wrote anything used Grammarly, I’d probably never be paid to proofread again!

You can also have reports emailed to you if you really want to see the scale of your grammar problem, or conversely, how amazing you are.
